Undergraduate Conservatory Audition, Interview & 项目组合评估 Guidelines

First-Year, Transfer, Re-Admit Students

Admission to a 音乐, 剧院 or 跳舞 program includes being academically admissible, as well as successfully complete and pass the mandatory audition, 面试 and/or portfolio review process. All confirmation materials can be accessed in the Application Portal and via the email listed on the application.

完成 Undergraduate Application Process

音乐al 剧院 Fall 2024: As of December 1, 2023, the Fall 2024 音乐al 剧院 application is closed. The strict deadline was November 30, 2023. We are no longer accepting 音乐al 剧院 applications for Fall 2024. 

  • Submit official high school and/or college transcripts from each institution attended. 考试成绩是 不是必需的.
  • Submit artistic résumé
  • 提交头像. Professional photos are welcome, but 不是必需的. A candid shot or senior yearbook photo is fine.

Register for Your Audition, Interview & 项目组合评估

Register for an Audition, Interview & 项目组合评估 via your Shenandoah Application Portal.
面试日期 are limited and may fill and close well in advance of the audition date. 

Admission decisions are not made until all application materials are received and the audition has been completed. Conservatory applicants must successfully pass their audition, 面试, and/or portfolio review (if applicable) and complete the music skills assessment and written theory diagnostic (if applicable) in order to be admitted.

Fall Semester/Spring Semester Applications

Shenandoah Conservatory accepts applications and admits students to all conservatory programs in the Fall (August) semester. Shenandoah accepts applications for 一些 programs f或者是 Spring (January) semester depending on availability. Applicants are encouraged to contact 招生 to determine if their program of interest has openings f或者是 spring semester.
